For major announcements, a press conference can be organized in order to get together key journalists for the company. The spokesperson can then officially talk to the press and deliver the same message to every media. The press conference is generally an occasion to share specific information and develop particular bonds with the journalists, who will have been given beforehand a detailed press kit.

EuroTandem recommends press conferences for BtoC and corporate communication. The press tour and individual meetings, often set in the press offices, are particularly appreciated by the journalists as they often have little time to get around. Contrary to the press conference, the press tour allows a custom-made message and an optimized relationship between the key journalist and the company’s spokesperson.
